Payrate and shifts as a Warehouse Operative:
- Standard pay: Β£12.58 p/h
- Shifts: Monday to Friday
- Times: 2pm to 22:30pm
- 45 mins break (15 mins paid)
Your Role as a Warehouse Operative:
- Picking orders using a hand-held scanner
- Packing items for delivery, ensuring that orders are packaged and labelled correctly
- Stacking boxes
- Labelling
- Arranging and tidying stock & materials
- Assisting with the unloading of vehicles and the checking in of stock
- Checking for damaged or missing items
- Performing inventory controls and keeping quality standards high for audits
- Following Site Standards and safe working practices in relation to Health and Safety
- Communicating and cooperating with Supervisors, Team Leaders and coworkers
- Ensuring efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures, rules and schedules
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous experience within a warehouse/DC environment
- Ability to interact and communicate professionally
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and target-driven environment
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Must be able to speak and understand English language
- Ability to be flexible in relation to shifts & hours
- Must be able to work weekends as needed
