We have a fantastic opportunity for you to work with our client as a full time MHE Driver in a well-established operation in Thatcham, RG19 4ND.
Pay Rate: £14.58 p/h
Typical working hours:
- Shift pattern: Monday to Friday rotating AM and PM shifts
- AM: 06:00 - 14:30
- PM: 14:00 - 22:30
Overtime is paid after 40 hours a week. 45 mins break (15 mins paid).
Your role as an MHE Driver:
- Operating Manual Handling Equipment (MHE), particularly pallet trucks, counterbalance, high level order pickers and Reach trucks
- Manoeuvring forklifts safely in a busy warehouse environment
- Safely stacking and unstacking large quantities of goods onto bulk racking or pallets
- Moving goods from storage areas to loading areas for transport
- Unloading deliveries and safely relocating the goods to their designated storage areas
- Regularly checking forklift equipment for faults or damages
- Keeping up to date on health and safety requirements and forklift operating procedures
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous MHE experience required within a Warehouse/Distribution Centre environment
- Must be able to work at height
- Ability to communicate professionally
- Comfortable working in a target-driven environment
- Ability to follow H&S procedures
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Must be able to speak and understand English language
- Ability to be flexible in relation to shifts & hours
- Must be able to work weekends as needed
