We have a fantastic opportunity for you to work with our client as a full-time Production Operative in a well-established operation in Grimsby DN37 9TS.
Pay rates and typical working hours:
- Packout Operatives pay rates: Standard: £12.53p/h | Nights: £13.03 p/h (from 10:00pm to 6am) | Overtime: £16.66 p/h
- Skilled – Batching, Cooking, High Risk positions, training provided from day 1: Standard: £13.52 p/h | Nights: £14.02 p/h (from 10:00pm to 6am) | Overtime: £17.98 p/h
Following a shift pattern Days and Nights in rotation
- Flexible shifts available – 12 hours shifts
- Mornings 06:00 -18:00
- Nights 18:00 – 06:00
- Weekend shifts available Days or Nights
What do we expect from you as a Production Operative:
- Have a Basic Food Safety Knowledge or Food Safety Level 2 (Cert)
- Be able to clearly communicate * Good standard of written and spoken English, to be able to communicate with managers and colleagues, follow direction/requests and be able to read any written instructions clearly
- Respect at work: Respect your colleagues and managers (treat others how you wish to be treated) and adhere to the site code of conduct
- Respect company property
- Adhere to Food Safety rules, policies, and procedure * Adhere to Health and Safety rules, policies, and procedures on site
- Report any near misses or hazards to your manager * Protect yourself and protect others…see it, say it, report it!
- Ability to work under pressure
