Working in the Pontypool area for our long-established client, the UK’s leading food manufacturers and retailers. ctrg are currently recruiting for a dedicated team member to work as a Hygiene Operative in Pontypool, NP4 0JJ. This is a long-term position with the potential for a permanent position.
Duties will include:
- Carry out day to day hygiene activities in line with daily requirements ensuring operational integrity.
- General pot washing duties, cleaning lines and machines adhering to high company standards, general waste management.
- Review equipment and highlight damage, escalating risks to the appropriate personnel.
- Ensure that chemicals are used and stored correctly.
- Ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately and submitted to the correct personnel.
- Follow work instructions highlighting any issues to the Hygiene Senior Operator.
- Promote a good health, safety and environmental culture within the department.
- Identify and highlight any opportunities that make sustainable improvements to increase quality and performance in support of the overall shift plan.
Personal Attributes:
- Good level of English ideally hygiene experience within a food manufacturing environment.
- Attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
Hours of Work:
12 hr shifts on a 4 on 4 off rota - flexibility to be able to start either 5am, 7am or 9am.
Rate of Pay: £13.05 per hour.
Weekly pay. Location: Pontypool, NP4 0JJ.
