ctrg are looking for a Canteen Assistant to work in Plymouth, PL7 4JH.
Must hold a valid Level 2 Food Safety Certificate
Pay rate: From £12.60 to £16.38
Key Responsibilities
- Food Hygiene: Valid Level 2 Food Hygiene
- Cooking: Varies from breakfast items to panini. Food is mostly pre‑ordered by colleagues.
- Cleaning: Keeping the kitchen to a general level of cleanliness and adhering to the cleaning schedule for deeper cleaning.
- Customer Service: Providing a service for Coop employees, DHL employees, outside goods‑in drivers, and any contractors on‑site.
- Cash Handling: Required to work the till and cash up at the end of the day.
- Vending Machines: Fill the four vending machines on site (cold drinks, hot drinks, snacks, and cold food) and prepare sandwiches for the cold food machine.
- Food Safety Compliance: Maintaining records for food safety, including temperature checking cooked food, hot held food, fridge and freezer temperatures, and chilled goods receiving temperatures.
Shift Details: 4 days out of 7 days; 2 days 8:00-14:15, 2 days 8:00-18:30. Note: This is a full‑time role and not suitable for short‑term commitments.
