Introduction & Job Purpose
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Recruitment Consultant looking to take their next step and join the team at CTRG. CTRG is a privately owned specialist logistics UK company that has several blue-chip clients across the UK. Whilst the role is mostly remote based, there will be occasions by which you will need to attend on site client meetings as well as our Manchester city centre office.
The Recruitment Consultant is responsible for all aspects of one of our blue-chip contracts to ensure that a high-quality consistent service is delivered to meet client requirements. This role will be responsible for delivering on the KPIs and SLA, managing the on site team to ensure daily operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day management of client contracts based in the Northwest
- Day to day management of a live candidate pool across multiple contracts
- Planning & candidate availability
- Recruitment of candidates and ensuring required standards of compliance are met
- Supporting also with other client contracts within HQ Operations team
- Delivery of excellent Customer service both to internal and external clients
- Achieve and increase performance across targeted KPI's
- Fully understand client requirements and ensure they get fulfilled consistently
- Regular updates and timely escalation of risk/issues to line manager
- Excellent commercial understanding managing the client and temporary workforce in line with the company budget
- Adhere to strict compliance and hold a full understanding of rules and regulations both in the recruitment sector and WTD
- Arrange and maintain regular client meetings and reviews with a proactive approach
- Plan and organise the assessment process for all drivers
- Advertising on social media accounts and other advertising sites as required
- Complete costings accurately for driver pay on a weekly basis & identifying anomaly
- Effective driver management including absence, pay queries, performance, retention, etc.
- Ensuring plans for contingencies are in place as & when required
- Plan and organise the induction process for new starters
- Report accurate accident reporting and any insurance/claim issue that may arise

Act in a calm, professional and proactive manner at all times. The Recruitment Consultant will take a flexible approach to their working arrangements, particularly in relation to re-assignment of duties that may be necessary when colleagues are away or during peak periods of work.

Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
Experience and Skills:
- Experience of Recruitment Consultant in the transport and logistics sector
- Driving licence
- Experience of building effective client relationships
- Experienced and successful delivering results
- Experience of working with various reporting and forecasting tools
- Experience of strong people skills and enjoys a challenge and working to targets
- Excellent client facing skills with the ability to build effective and sustainable relationships
- Self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented with a positive outlook, a clear focus on quality and business profit
- Uses own initiative and uses good judgement to make decisions
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Good computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel and Power Point)
