We're recruiting for a Transport Administrator to join a friendly, close-knit team at our client's busy logistics operation in Haydock (WA11 9FS).
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys organisation, communication and problem-solving. You'll be working in a supportive environment where full training is provided, giving you the opportunity to learn and develop within a well-established transport operation.
Pay Rate
£13.03 per hour
Shift Pattern
Monday to Friday
09:00am - 5:00pm
37.5 hours per week
What You'll Be Doing
As a Transport Administrator, you'll support the day-to-day running of the transport office by:
- Producing reports, dashboards and KPI information
- Handling customer enquiries and tracking deliveries
- Supporting drivers through the debrief process
- Processing time and attendance information
- Assisting with payroll administration
- Updating transport and warehouse systems
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Working closely with transport, warehouse and customer service teams
- Supporting general office and operational administration duties
What We're Looking For
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good attention to detail
- Confident using computer systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Organised and able to manage a busy workload
- Previous administration experience is beneficial but not essential
