We have a fantastic opportunity for you to work with our client as a full time Production Operative in Pontypool, NP4 0JJ

This is a full-time position and may not be compatible with academic schedules

Your pay rate as a full time Production Operative:

  • Day shift: £12.42

Typical working hours as a full time Production Operative:

You will be working a 12 hour shift which includes one of the following:

  • Day shift: you will be working from 5am to 5pm or 7am-7pm on a 4 on, 4 off rota

Your role as a Production Operative:

  • Producing high-quality bread, muffins, rolls as a part of the team on a production line
  • Supporting the shift leaders to achieve targets
  • Keeping your work area hygienic
  • Potentially standing on your feet for up to 12 hours depending on which shift you do
  • The environment is very hot to work, the work is manual and require some heavy lifting

What are we looking for in a Production Operative:

  • Reliable with the ability to show initiative
  • Flexible and adaptable to work across departments
  • Great communication skills
  • Must be able to work full time for a long term basis
  • Must live in the local area (Cwmbran/Pontypool)
