We are looking for a reliable Pull Away Operative to work in a food manufacturing environment for our client in Wisbech, PE13 2RN. You will be working in cold temperatures (+6 - +8). Other duties may be required. Full Time Shifts – Wed/Thu to Sat or Sunday to Tuesday/Wednesday 8am-8pm. Pay rate: £12.71 p/h, with the opportunity to increase to £12.90 after 12 weeks of length of service, depending on performance.
Key Duties
- Pulling away pallets of packed fruit from production lines
- Stacking boxes onto pallets safely and efficiently
- Bringing empty boxes and packaging materials to the production area
- Wrapping pallets securely for storage or dispatch
- Moving pallets using pallet trucks or manual handling equipment
- Carrying out heavy lifting as part of daily tasks
- Keeping the work area clean and organised
- Always following health and safety and food hygiene standards
