Hours:
- Ad hoc AM shifts including Saturday and Monday, start windows from 03:00
The role of Class 1 Driver:
- Delivering frozen, chilled, and ambient goods to food retail stores and RDCs
- Unloading paletted and caged goods directly into store locations
- Carrying out vehicle safety checks and reporting defects
The ideal Class 1 Driver:
- Valid UK C+E (Class 1) licence — minimum 6 months experience preferred; newly qualified drivers considered
- DCPC Qualification Card and Digital Tachograph
- Good understanding of Driver's Hours and Working Time Directive
- Positive attitude, great communication skills, and a flexible approach
