The role of Administrator:

  • Performing role requirements to a right first time, every time methodology
  • Updating Warehouse Management systems with stock receipts, moves and discrepancies
  • Reporting identified issues or problems to the Team Leader in a timely manner
  • Carrying out instructions from Team Leader/Manager relating to duties, policies and procedures
  • Using correct manual handling techniques when handling containers, boxes and parts
  • Operating company equipment safely in accordance with policies, procedures and legislation
  • Supporting the operation in achieving Vantec and customer requirements
  • Attending shift briefings, understanding KPIs on Performance Boards and raising issues for resolution
  • Ensuring all activities are undertaken in accordance with current legislation and company policies

The ideal Administrator:

  • Computer literate, capable of working independently and open to role changes as needed
  • Accuracy in work is essential
  • Prepared for heavy lifting and decanting of boxes (training provided in all aspects of the operation)
