Cantello Tayler Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Night Picker on behalf of a well established FMCG food distribution company based in Uxbridge. Due to continued growth this is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and fast paced night operations team.
Please note: This is a night shift role. Applicants must be able to commit to full time night working and commute independently as public transport is not suitable during shift hours.
The Role
- As a Night Picker you will play a vital role in ensuring customer orders are picked, packed and prepared accurately for next day delivery.
- Working within a food distribution warehouse you will help maintain high standards of accuracy, hygiene and food safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking and packing customer orders across perishable and non-perishable areas
- Preparing completed orders for dispatch and next day delivery
- Supporting the night team and drivers by resolving order queries
- Loading, replenishing and rotating stock correctly
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment
- Carrying out manual handling tasks in line with health & safety guidelines
- Ensuring compliance with company procedures and food safety standards
About You
- Previous warehouse experience, ideally within food distribution or FMCG
- Experience with picking and packing processes
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, dependable and a strong team player
- Based locally to Uxbridge or able to commute independently
- Forklift licence desirable but not essential
