CTR Select are currently recruiting for a Trainee Estimator to join our client based in Englefield Green. Office based Monday - Friday 7.30am - 4pm. We are seeking someone who is eager to learn, thrives in a team environment, and can meet tight deadlines.

The successful Trainee Estimator will be responsible for:

  • Utilising estimating software to build quotations
  • Reviewing tender information to highlight any necessary tender clarifications
  • Develop cost plans and budget estimates
  • Liaising with the estimating manager and other senior personnel on current estimates and the handover of projects upon order of contract
  • Carrying out labour and material take-offs
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Ability to deal with high work volumes and prioritise accordingly
  • Excellent time management and ability to multitask
  • Working within a client lead role
  • Reporting to the Estimating Manager

The Trainee Estimator will have:

  • Good IT skills, including Excel
  • Good communication skills and confident on the phone
  • Always upholds a professional attitude
  • Flexibility and commitment
