Our client is seeking an experienced Digital Project Manager / Ecommerce Project Manager to support the delivery of a large-scale Magento to Shopify Plus migration. This is a hands-on project delivery role, coordinating multiple workstreams across development, UX/design, QA, content, data, integrations and external agencies. You will help drive the migration roadmap, manage risks and dependencies, coordinate stakeholders and ensure a controlled, well-governed go-live and post-launch stabilisation within a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and coordinate the migration project plan, roadmap, milestones, dependencies and RACI
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across development, design, QA, content, data and agencies
  • Track key migration workstreams including customer/product data, order history, SEO redirects, integrations, themes and analytics
  • Support requirements gathering, feature scoping, prioritisation and change control
  • Coordinate UAT, testing, defect management and resolution
  • Oversee the migration of website content, landing pages, blogs and promotional assets
  • Maintain project documentation, status reports, RAID logs, decisions and actions
  • Lead stand-ups, project meetings and stakeholder updates
  • Proactively identify and elevate risks, blockers, dependencies and scope creep
  • Coordinate Shopify and third-party development partners
  • Support cutover, go-live, rollback planning and post-launch stabilisation
  • Ensure project activity remains aligned with governance, timelines and business objectives

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience as a Digital Project Manager, Ecommerce Project Manager or similar
  • Strong track record delivering ecommerce, website or digital platform migration projects
  • Experience with Magento and/or Shopify; Shopify Plus highly desirable
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and organisational skills
  • Experience coordinating multiple technical and business workstreams
  • Proven experience managing external agencies, suppliers and development partners
  • Strong understanding of requirements, scope, prioritisation and change control
  • Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Trello or similar
  • Good working knowledge of APIs, data migration, system integrations and web development
  • Strong risk, issue, dependency and delivery management skills
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
