HR Coordinator
Location: Watford
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time, office-based Monday to Friday.
CTR Select is recruiting for an HR Coordinator to join a busy and supportive HR team. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will provide a broad range of HR support across the business, working closely with managers, senior leaders and employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HR advice and support to managers and employees.
- Support recruitment, selection and onboarding processes.
- Coordinate inductions and mandatory training for new starters.
- Advise and coach managers on employee relations, performance, disciplinary and grievance matters.
- Support reward and recognition initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR systems.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures remain compliant with UK employment legislation.
- Produce HR reports and metrics to support senior management decision-making.
- Keep up to date with employment law, HR best practice and industry developments.
About You
We are looking for a proactive and people-focused HR professional with:
- Previous experience in a generalist HR, HR Coordinator or HR Advisory role.
- Good knowledge of UK employment legislation.
- Experience supporting recruitment and employee relations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to coach, influence and build relationships at all levels.
- Experience with HRIS and HR reporting.
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- A professional, confidential and diplomatic approach.
