At CTR Care Training Ltd we are recruiting for Health & Social Care trainers to join our team on a freelance basis.

We are a small family run training provider, based in Pontypridd, South Wales. The company specialises in Health and Social Care training and are also able to offer a portfolio of Health and Safety, First Aid and mental health courses.

We largely work with care homes, domiciliary agencies, and local authorities, delivering to care workers and support workers. We cover all of South Wales and occasionally a little further afield.

Over the years we have gained a reputation for delivering cost-effective, quality training in a fun and engaging way. We have a team of like-minded trainers on board who are passionate about delivering quality training and who love to make their courses fun, interesting and engaging for the learners. We are now looking to extend our training team to include more fun-loving, quality, experienced Health and Social Care Trainers.

  • IT MATTERS. Working with us, you will be doing a little bit towards improving the quality of health and social care in Wales one learner at a time.

Who would be the ideal person for this role?

Someone who is…

  • Passionate about health and social care
  • Engaging and full of energy
  • Conscientious and prides themselves on the quality of their delivery
  • Dynamic and able to adapt learning to a variety of audiences
  • Someone based in or near South Wales as this is where all of our training takes place.

And someone who has…

  • A minimum of 2 years training experience
  • A minimum of level 3 Health and Social Care qualification
  • Hands on experience in a health and social care environment
  • A formal teaching qualification (e.g. Level 3 Award in Education and Training / PTLLS / PGCE).
  • Qualifications and experience in the subjects to be delivered
  • A driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Your own training equipment such as; laptop, projector and learning equipment
  • Able to deliver the following subjects in particular would be beneficial; Epilepsy with Buccal, Level 2 Safeguarding, Level 2 Administration of Medication
