Responsibilities

  • Loading and unloading deliveries with a fork truck
  • Cutting raw materials on a band saw
  • De-burring, drilling, cleaning and painting metalwork
  • Assist experienced engineers in the assembly and testing of conveyor systems

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Fork truck operators’ licence is preferred, however not essential as training can be offered
  • A strong interest in mechanical engineering and a desire to learn
  • Basic understanding of engineering principles and concepts
  • Proficient in using hand tools and basic machinery (training will be provided)
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
