Responsibilities

  • Reporting & Visualisation Mastery: Develop and manage visualisations in Tableau Cloud, transforming complex data into intuitive, actionable dashboards and reports.
  • Data Architecture & Optimisation: Maintain, extend and optimise our central data warehouse and associated ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) pipelines.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver scalable, fit‑for‑purpose Business Intelligence solutions.
  • Data Modelling: Build reliable data models, combining datasets from multiple platforms into a fully related and normalised structure suitable for performance tracking and reporting.
  • Quality Assurance & Governance: Implement and manage rigorous data quality assurance processes, ensuring accuracy, integrity and completeness, and the security and proper access of company data.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously review data structures and reporting outputs, identifying improvements that drive insight, efficiency and operational performance.
  • Documentation & Planning: Maintain clear documentation for all systems, processes and data flows, and partner with a programme coordinator to maintain a roadmap of system improvements.

Qualifications

  • Tableau Expertise: Proven commercial experience using Tableau to build dashboards and reports is essential.
  • SQL Proficiency: Comfortable writing and editing SQL queries to manipulate and extract data.
  • Problem‑Solving Mindset: Ability to use data to answer complex questions and spot trends or inconsistencies.
  • Effective Communication: Strong skills in simplifying complex information and presenting it clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Curiosity and Attention to Detail: Naturally curious, organised, with a sharp eye for detail and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Genuine team player who enjoys working with others to get the best possible solution, embodying the ‘Get stuck in’ value.

Bonus points

  • Experience working with cloud‑based tools like Google Sheets or HubSpot.
  • Hands‑on experience with ELT tools such as Fivetran.
