At CTE Advanced Technologies, we create high-quality precision components for some of the world’s leading motorsport and engineering brands. We’re looking for a talented CNC Turner to join our friendly team in Aylesbury.

What You’ll Do:

  • Programming/setting/operating on a lathe using Fanuc and Fusion 360.
  • Assessing engineering drawings to establish a strategy for creating a machined part. Implementing the strategy with the most efficient use of time and resources, available tooling and whether new tooling is required.
  • Assessing and agreeing lead times with the Machine shop supervisor.
  • Ensuring quality targets are always met. Liaise with Quality Engineer so that all parties are aware of tolerance limits and how these are to be attained and measured.
  • Maintain machine maintenance schedules.

  • A proven track record in operating CNC Lathe.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Backed up by qualifications in these disciplines.
  • Additional skills in these areas would be a key advantage to role: Hypermill experience, 3 and 5 axis milling, experience on Hurco Mills.
  • A positive, solutions-focused mindset.
