Production Operator β Dayshift 7am β 3pm
Fixed term β with possible extension
Dayshift: Β£12.46 per hour
After successful 13 week probation hourly rate will increase.
Location : Glenrothes

CTDI is a full service, global engineering, repair and logistics Company providing best cost solutions to many of the worlds' premier brands. We support the entire product life cycle, from original design input, pre-sales testing, local customisation and configuration through to our field support activities that include technical assistance as well as product repair, replacement and refurbishment programs.
The Role(s)
Debox
The Debox role consists of receiving, cleaning and a power up test, once all completed the product is then transacted into the company's computer system.
Book in
The Book in role consists of receiving the product and checking the overall condition for damage and transacted through the company's computer system.
Book out
The Book Out role consists of booking out all products to the required standard. This is completed by checking that all parts have been fitted correctly and transacted correctly into the company's computer systems.
Down Load
The Down Load role consists of taking units that have been booked in and changing the software on the unit so it can be tested. The units are then transacted manually through the company's computer system.
Key Job Responsibilities
Understand the process flow of product.
Understand where to find the current work instructions.
To ensure that Customer requirements are met on time.
To ensure that ESD standards are met at all times.
To ensure all transactions are carried out accurately.
To ensure that our quality standards are met at all times and the unit is constructed correctly as per work instructions.
To be able to demonstrate the importance of health and safety within production area.
To ensure that tooling is suitable for task in hand
Have an understanding of the principles of 5's within the area.
Have an understanding the importance of escalating quality issues from our suppliers.
Candidate Profile/Qualifications
Experience working in a production environment
Exceptional hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
Must be a good team player with good communication skills
Flexible approach and can do attitude
Ability to follow instructions.
Ensuring all quality standards are maintained
Excellent communication skills
Strong time keeping and attendance record
