About the Role

This is not your standard Operations Manager/General Manager role. We are looking for a unique individual who has had experience of startups as well having that all extensive knowledge ranging from reverse logistics to engineering and resourcing.

As the Operations Manager, you will be a pivotal member of our management team, responsible for the efficient delivery of all products to our clients. Located at our new Wellingborough site, you will play a crucial role in planning, directing, and managing operations to foster business growth and uphold our reputation for quality.

Key Responsibilities

Performance Monitoring : Review performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement, identifying areas for cost reduction and improvement.

  • Efficiency & Quality : Ensure all lines operate at maximum efficiency within budgets, meeting quality targets.
  • Reverse Logistics : Oversee the process of receiving returned products and manage reverse logistics operations.
  • Quality Assurance : Collaborate with Engineering/Quality to establish KPIs for monitoring quality performance.
  • Workload Management : Plan and review workload and manpower to meet targets cost-effectively.
  • Customer Solutions : Analyse customer escalations and OOBA fails, implementing corrective actions.
  • Continuous Improvement : Drive quality improvements using CI methodologies.
  • Leadership Development : Build and lead a cohesive team, implementing succession planning and recruitment strategies.
  • Standardisation & Training : Promote standardisation across operations with cross-training initiatives.
  • Environmental Responsibility : Lead by example in reducing, reusing, and recycling, ensuring responsible waste disposal.
  • Health & Safety Compliance : Ensure adherence to all Health & Safety regulations.

  • Awareness of Health & Safety laws, ideally IOSH qualified, not essential.
