Job Description CTDI are hiring!! Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Component Engineer to join our new site in Wellingborough. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all components meet the required specifications and performance standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering principles and a passion for problem-solving. Responsibilities Define new component master data and setup in the system Define the components of NPI products (based on customer information/golden samples/manufacturing BOM/operational process), create BOM and setup in the system with change/consumption rates Maintain and update Material Master and BOMs Support the procurement team by the sourcing process, describe the technical parameters and validate the samples Handling of Engineer change notifications Follow component life cycle and register in the system (EOL, LTB) Support Purchasing and Planning from technical side Create and analyse component technical specifications/datasheets Suggestion of alternative components/solutions Technical support of material cost saving projects, yearly material tenders Palettization instructions for operation
