Our client is a north London borough.

All potential candidates should read through the following details of this job with care before making an application.

They are now looking for an Arboriculturalist to run their tree planting programme.

This is a hybrid role with circa 2/3 days spent at the councils offices but this can be flexible.
Candidates should have knowledge and experience in tree planting, including species choice and aftercare.

Reporting to the Principal Tree Officer, you will be responsible for all aspects of the process from sourcing the trees , choosing the planting sites, instructing the contractors to ensuring an aftercare programme is in place and adhered to.

Part of the role will also include assisting with sourcing the funding for the project from external and internal stakeholders and communicating with relevant stake holders affected by the planting scheme.
You should have a minimum of a Level 3 in Arboriculture and be able to travel around the borough.

In return a pay rate of £22.82/hour is offered PAYE.

This is a temporary role which may transfer to a permanent post for the right candidate
