A South London Council is looking for a Tree Inspector to carry out a Visual Tree Assessment on groups of trees in their borough. This will involve assessing the species and allocating a risk rating and it is expected to take circa 6 months but it could roll on.

Candidates need the Lantra PTI, and at least a level 2 in arboriculture, so this would be great experience for an Arborist looking to move off the tools into a technical role. A driving licence would also be preferable.

In return a PAYE rate of circa £20.58/hour is offered, which is c. £39k pa. This is a temporary contract for a minimum of 6 months with the possibility of becoming permanent thereafter.
