As a Sr. Network Engineer, you will be a member of the Network Engineering team. You’ll work as part of a tight-knit team responsible for planning, implementing, and supporting technical solutions across enterprise, cloud and trading environments. This role requires deep technical, operational, and communication skills to deliver results across the trading platform.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, operate, and support CTC’s global network infrastructure
- Collaborate with traders, developers, operations teams, technologists, and management to deliver high-quality network solutions to real-world problems
- Take a data driven approach to analyzing and solving complex network infrastructure issues
- Guide projects from beginning to end, including design, procurement, implementation, and documentation
- Use automation to improve efficiency and manage the network at scale
- Enhance monitoring and alerting for network and application performance
- Participate in an on-call rotation with the team for off-hours support
- Other duties as assigned or needed
What we're looking for
- Extensive experience supporting a large-scale, global Network with hands-on experience in low-latency architecture
- Deep knowledge of low-level network debugging, with a track record of solving performance issues
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP & Ethernet networking including unicast and multicast routing protocols
- Strong problem-solving under pressure and a collaborative, customer-service mindset; financial trading industry experience preferred
