Talent Partner to Global Life Science clients. We are a rapidly growing science and technology‑led company, having trebled in size over the last five years. Our groundbreaking product development is supported by a new technical team and SOA laboratories. We are committed to growth both in the UK and internationally. We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated individual to head up our Customer Hub and join the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to implement our strategic vision. The successful candidate will play a key role in refining and modifying our strategy over time, adjusting the composition of the team, and building up market data to inform decisions on new product introductions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of customer‑facing professionals, including account managers, customer service representatives, and sales staff.
- Optimise a range of routes to market, including direct sales to hospital trusts, ICBs/ICS’, regional healthcare commissioning groups, distributors of healthcare products, NHS Supply Chain, FMs, and major contracts.
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships across various routes to market.
- Motivate and guide sales‑oriented team members with appropriate incentive packages.
- Develop pricing structures that achieve consistency across different routes to market.
- Oversee key major accounts and develop new business opportunities.
- Work closely with the SLT to refine and implement the company’s strategic vision.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in running a team of customer‑facing professionals in a complex market environment.
- Strong understanding of various routes to market, including direct sales, distribution, and supply chain management.
- Experience working in a collaborative and integrated approach of products and support to create solutions and outcomes for customers.
- Experience in the UK healthcare market is preferred, but similar experience in other complex markets is also acceptable.
- Commercial acumen to develop and implement effective pricing structures.
- Ability to motivate and guide a sales‑oriented team with appropriate incentive packages.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Personal hunger for developing new business opportunities and overseeing major accounts.
