The company is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, and delivery of electrical systems across a range of energy and process engineering projects. Working as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will contribute to the development of electrical designs, technical documentation, equipment specifications, and site support activities.
Responsibilities:- Support the development of electrical engineering documentation including cable calculations and selectivity studies, and cable routing and termination drawings.
- Assist in the design and specification of electrical systems and equipment including transformers, switchgear, MCCs, generators, distribution systems, and control equipment.
- Contribute to the preparation of technical documentation, bills of materials, and engineering calculations.
- Participate in site surveys and provide engineering support during installation and commissioning activities where required.
- Respond to technical queries and support project teams throughout delivery phases.
- Work collaboratively with other engineering disciplines to ensure coordinated project execution.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering standards, processes, and documentation.
- Degree qualified in Electrical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
- Proven experience within electrical engineering roles in industrial or process-related industries such as energy, oil & gas, utilities, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, or similar sectors.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and industrial power systems.
- Experience producing electrical design documentation and calculations.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and electrical codes.
- Experience using Autodesk software such as AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical would be advantageous.
- Interest in renewable energy, sustainability, or emerging energy technologies would be highly beneficial.
