An opportunity to join one of the UK’s most successful start-ups in scientific instrumentation and analytics from the last few years. The Senior Electronics Engineer will design, develop, modify and evaluate electronic components for electronic equipment, or other hardware systems and/or electrical engineering applications.

Responsibilities include:

  • Determining design approaches and parameters.
  • Analysing equipment to establish operating data, conducting experimental tests and evaluating results.
  • Leading the development with outsourcing partners and being the main party responsible for internal standards.
  • Managing internal electronic systems.
  • Leading a project and/or small team.
  • Supplying electronics expertise to aid other projects.

Qualifications:

  • MEng in electrical engineering or similar.
  • Full-cycle board-level electronics design for products released to market.
  • Electronics design (PCB, PCB assemblies) in any CAD tool, both schematic and layout.
  • Design testing and compliance testing.
  • Full-cycle project management.
  • Software deployment.
