An opportunity to join one of the UK’s most successful start-ups in scientific instrumentation and analytics. They are seeking a proactive Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure materials, components, and services from their suppliers meet quality, regulatory, and performance standards.
Working cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Consumables and Supply Chain, you will play a key role in:
- Supplier selection, qualification, and performance management
- Continuous improvement
- Monitoring supplier performance, including QBRs and quality agreements
- Defining and aligning Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) requirements, especially during NPI
- Leading root cause analysis and managing supplier CAPA processes
- Driving continuous improvement and preventing recurring quality issues
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field
- Experience with audits and vendor quality performance measures
- Willingness to travel (UK and international) - around 25-30%
- Full driving licence
- Experience in medical, pharma, or aerospace sectors
