Are you passionate about ensuring top-tier product quality? This role is responsible for ensuring the final quality of finished products by performing thorough checks and measurements in accordance with internal test procedures and work instructions. As a member of the quality department and a cross-functional team, you will conduct instrument testing, report findings, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Perform molecular mass measurements of samples in solution on Mass Photometers, as specified by internal test process documentation.
  • Record data in a methodical manner according to standard procedures and templates, reporting results as required in accordance with the Quality Team.
  • Work closely with members of the Manufacturing and Operations teams to ensure smooth travel of instruments through production and testing processes, helping to resolve any issues observed during this process.
  • Upload results into data storage repositories and update SPC data trending charts.
  • Support the Quality Department in any other relevant quality tasks including but not limited to final product inspections, internal audits, preparation of procedures or assisting with investigations.

We are ideally looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

  • Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science (preferred).
  • Knowledge and Experience:
  • Knowledge of quality-controlled manufacturing test environments and systems (intermediate).
  • Knowledge of the safe use and handling of standard biological materials, such as proteins & DNAs (intermediate).
  • Knowledge of basic laboratory-based processes, equipment, and tools (intermediate).
  • Knowledge of internationally recognised quality standards, such as ISO9001 (basic).
  • Knowledge of standard scientific terminology related to biological materials (intermediate).
  • Ability to read and understand technical specifications (basic).
  • Quick to learn and possess a keen eye for detail (intermediate).
  • Organised and structured approach to their work (basic).
  • Excellent time management skills (basic).
  • Strong team-working skills coupled with an ability to build relationships with different people and groups (intermediate).
