This is an opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists working on novel, real-world systems deployed across a range of industrial applications.
We are seeking a forward-thinking and results-driven Mechanical Engineer where you will play a key role in the design, development, and delivery of innovative mechanical systems, with a strong emphasis on performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
Responsibilities:- Design and develop innovative mechanical systems and components, optimised for performance, durability, and manufacturability.
- Contribute to projects involving design, prototyping, and testing of advanced process systems.
- Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and performance assessments under real-world conditions.
- Build and test prototypes, ensuring robust validation of performance and reliability.
- Identify and implement cost-effective manufacturing approaches for both new and existing designs.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including materials scientists, chemists, and process engineers.
- Degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in mechanical design within a technical, R&D, or manufacturing environment.
- Strong proficiency in CAD tools (e.g. SolidWorks) and simulation software.
- Experience with process equipment or systems such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, reactors, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with prototyping and mechanical testing.
- Strong problem-solving ability with a creative and innovative mindset.
- Knowledge of modern manufacturing techniques and advanced materials.
- Project management experience is beneficial.
