Earning & Hours

• EARN – £7.55 per hour, 30 hours per week
• EXPERIENCE – Monday to Friday shifts between 7am and 5pm
• QUALIFICATION – Early Years Practitioner Level 2 (≈16 months)

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning the curriculum using EYFS guidance.
• Set up for the daily programme and tidy away after sessions.
• Act as a key person to a small group of children, building relationships with parents/carers.
• Support children’s learning, offering appropriate support and stimulating play experiences.
• Ensure children are kept safe and follow child protection procedures.
• Participate in team meetings, supervision meetings and appraisal meetings.
• Attend training courses as required and take responsibility for personal development.
• Keep confidential records and comply with GDPR.
• Minimum of 6 hours per week spent on apprenticeship work and training.

Apprenticeship Details

• Work towards Early Years Practitioner Level 2 Qualification.
• Monthly 1‑2‑1 meetings (online via Teams) and at least 3 hours per week of apprenticeship work.
• At least 3 hours per week of training from the employer, all completed in the workplace.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum GRADE 4/C in GCSE Maths & English (or equivalent).
• UK Residency – lived in the UK for at least 3 years.
• Communication, team working & customer care.
• Creativity, initiative, non‑judgemental & patient.
