WHO are Coveris Speciality Bags?

The Hartlepool site forms part of the Flexibles Division of Coveris which has operating units in the UK, France, Egypt, Germany, Austria, Poland and Hungary. Operating 24/7, and employing around 100 people, they convert and print film into speciality bags for a highly prestigious and demanding customer base. The site has experienced volume growth and investment which allows them to service blue-chip customers such as Santander and Next, as well as multiple fresh and frozen food manufacturers supplying the major retailers.

You will be joining a demanding business, with demanding customers. WHAT will I get from working with Coveris Speciality Bags?

  • EARN: Β£7.55 per hour, 37.5 hours per week
  • EXPERIENCE: your hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm, finish at 4pm on Fridays
  • QUALIFICATION: Customer Service Specialist Level 3 takes approximately 17 months.

WHAT will my DAY look like?

The purpose of the Customer Service Advisors is to deliver the highest possible level of customer service to enable Coveris to profitably grow through commercial excellence, in line with strategic business objectives to drive optimisation, profitability & efficiency. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Ensuring that all customer orders, quotations, designs, queries, complaints etc. are processed as quickly & efficiently as possible.
  • Inputting & feeding back to customers; details of work in progress; check & follow up any commitments made to customers or other Coveris departments to ensure promises are being met.
  • Establishing key working relationships with colleagues & clients
  • Liaising with managers and colleagues.
  • Minimum of 6 hours per week spent on apprenticeship work and training.

HOW does the Apprenticeship work?

Working towards your Customer Service Specialist Level 3 Qualification, you'll attend monthly 1-2-1 meetings (online via teams every month – NO classroom OR college!) with your tutor and learn about modules including the organisation & role fundamentals, customer management and the customer experience. You will be given a minimum of 3 hours per week to complete any apprenticeship work (assignments, research, and projects) and will receive at least another 3 hours of training from your employer. All apprenticeship work and training is completed in the workplace, during working hours.

UK Residency: must have lived in the UK for at least 3 years
