The Group is now seeking a Manager to join the Real Estate and Infrastructure team in our Central London-based UK office. We provide corporate transactional and project advisory across real estate, property development, and infrastructure. We support both corporate clients and projects across a range of asset classes, including strategic land, residential and commercial property, retail, transport (aviation, rail, highways), logistics, major developments, and infrastructure. CT Group advises national and international investors and businesses including start-ups and new, disruptive market entrants.

As a Manager you will be expected to:

  • Lead and manage projects from scoping to delivery;
  • Ensure all project deliverables are to a high standard and client ready;
  • Manage the project team on all aspects including allocation of work, coaching and mentoring consultants, and providing timely feedback on project deliverables;
  • Work closely with clients and internal stakeholders, developing strong professional relationships, and liaising with teams to deliver exceptional work to the client;
  • Anticipate the long-term impact of decisions and take a broad approach to problem solving;
  • Lead on insightful analysis to build an evidence base to support strategy development and change on projects;
  • Provide research for thought leadership pieces;
  • Manage conflict and bring resolution, including knowing when to escalate;
  • Anticipate project risks and actively seek solutions;
  • Deliver project extensions and follow-on work, alongside working on new business development opportunities;
  • Be seen as a trusted advisor.

This role requires a confident and flexible self-starter with exceptional organizational and time management skills. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are essential to this role as well as a desire to grow talent through thoughtful development practices. Candidates should demonstrate an aptitude for critical thinking and provide innovative insight and resolution into complex problems. The ideal candidate should possess the following:

  • Experience within relevant management consulting or similar;
  • Excellent stakeholder management both internally and externally;
  • Proven ability to deliver the full cycle of project management accountabilities;
  • Experience in real estate, development, planning, infrastructure, transportation or related sectors;
  • Exceptional time management skills to manage competing priorities, across client service, practice development, and business development responsibilities;
  • Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence;
  • Experience in business development would be beneficial and a desire and willingness to start to build own external network;
  • Adaptability and ability to prioritise and work under time pressure with excellent time management skills;
  • A high level of professionalism and confidentiality is a prerequisite;
  • Experience with problem diagnosis, solution development, client communications, decision-making facilitation, documentation, stakeholder management, project profitability, and team management.
