With a uniquely talented team, CT Group's capabilities comprise an unrivalled mixture of strategic insight, research and communications, corporate intelligence, project management and campaign delivery.

An exciting role has opened up in our research team. The successful applicant will deliver high level research projects and insights in line with our unique methodology, be responsible for running projects from inception to completion, manage junior team members as well as external and internal clients, and identify new business opportunities and contacts to grow our client base.

Key responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage complex multi-method research projects across numerous jurisdictions and work across multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Lead on insightful analysis to build an evidence base to support strategy development and change underpinned by the CT Way methodology.
  • Conduct statistical analysis to deliver for clients and internal teams.
  • Anticipate project risks and actively seek solutions including managing external suppliers to ensure they deliver high quality output.

  • Lead and inspire others including management of junior consultants.
  • Actively contribute to business development through the identification of new opportunities with new and existing clients and work on shaping and writing proposals.
  • Actively be a part of pitch teams and confidently present research findings to new and existing clients.
  • Understand project financials, including correct pricing and managing project budgets.
Skills:

You should have a proven ability to lead complex projects. The role truly requires a confident hybrid researcher with exceptional organisational and time-management skills. Self-motivation and outstanding written and verbal communication skills are essential to this role. Candidates should demonstrate an aptitude for curiosity, critical thinking and provide innovative insight and resolution into complex client problems.

The ideal candidate should also possess the following:

  • Strong (3-5 years+) relevant political or market research experience.
  • A high level of practical competency across both qualitative and quantitative end-end skillsets.
  • Experience with moderation of focus groups and interviews, sample and questionnaire design, data processing and statistical data analysis, report writing and presentation.

  • Strong presentation skills for client meetings and briefings.
  • Excellent written communication, particularly in writing reports and insights.

  • Ability to use initiative and a willingness to embrace innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to build and maintain networks across the company and the external market with a view of winning work.
  • A high level of professionalism and confidentiality is a prerequisite.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R.
