Quality Manager – Cardiff

My client, a market leading manufacturer in their field, is recruiting for a Quality Manager for their facility in Cardiff. They are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join them on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have experience working with the construction manufacturing industry.
As a Quality Manager you will:
- Establish and implement quality control procedures for products.
- Oversee the inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished elements to ensure they meet the required specifications.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Investigate customer complaints and quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Analyse quality data and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency.
- Ensure that all processes and products comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines (e.g., ISO, ASTM).
- Ensure all testing and inspection equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
- Ensure that all quality control processes adhere to health and safety protocols to protect workers.
You will need:
- Experience in construction manufacturing
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Good technical ability, enthusiastic and driven
