We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to develop innovative and engaging elearning solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of educational theory, instructional design principles, and e-learning methodologies. You will design and develop blended learning experiences that integrate rapid learning authoring tools and cutting-edge instructional strategies.
A key focus of this role will be developing elearning Health and Safety training materials, ensuring compliance with industry regulations while maintaining a learner-centric approach.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and implement blended learning and e-learning solutions that enhance learner engagement and retention.
- Apply instructional design theories and adult learning principles to create high-quality learning experiences.
- Develop course content using rapid learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar platforms.
- Manage content creation and administration within our Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Work collaboratively with subject matter experts (SMEs) to design and structure course materials.
- Ensure instructional materials align with best practices in formal and informal learning methodologies.
- Evaluate and refine learning solutions based on learner feedback and performance data.
- Strong knowledge of educational theory and instructional design principles.
- Experience developing blended learning and e-learning solutions for diverse learners.
- Practical know-how in VLE/LMS content creation and management.
- Proficiency in rapid learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia).
- Experience working in a materials development environment, preferably related to online and blended learning.
- Strong understanding of Health and Safety training requirements and compliance.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality content within tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience with microlearning and adaptive learning techniques.
- Knowledge of SCORM, xAPI, and other e-learning standards.
- Familiarity with video production and multimedia content creation.
- Understanding of accessibility and inclusivity standards in e-learning.
