CST Training LTD, a leading UK-based training company renowned for its commitment to excellence and rapid expansion, is currently seeking a B2B Business Development Lead. This role is essential for supporting CST's mission to deliver innovative, wise, and straightforward training solutions, contributing to our outstanding reputation for reliability and quality.

The B2B Business Development Team Lead is responsible for driving revenue growth across CST Training’s business-to-business portfolio. This role combines hands-on new business development with leadership of a small team of Business Development Executives. The postholder will set direction, coach performance, and ensure consistent execution against sales targets while building strong, long-term relationships with employer clients.

  • Own and deliver B2B sales targets in line with company growth objectives.
  • Develop and execute account strategies to grow existing B2B relationships.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to close and handover.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline using CRM systems.
  • Team Leadership & Management
  • Lead, motivate, and coach a team of Business Development Executives.
  • Set clear individual targets and KPIs aligned to overall business goals.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and pipeline reviews.
  • Support onboarding and ongoing training for new and existing team members.
  • Foster a high-performance, collaborative sales culture.
  • Contribute to the wider B2B sales strategy for CST Training.
  • Forecast sales performance and report against targets.

Proven experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally within training, education, or a service-based environment. Demonstrable success in meeting or exceeding sales targets. Experience leading, coaching, or mentoring a sales or business development team. Confident using CRM systems and sales reporting tools. Understanding of employer engagement within regulated or compliance-led sectors. Experience contributing to sales strategy and commercial planning. Results-driven with a strong commercial mindset. Motivational leader who leads by example. Strong relationship builder with a consultative sales approach.
