About the Role

We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Systems Analyst to play a key role in improving the effectiveness, reliability and quality of our business systems.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes and helping colleagues get the most out of technology.

Working closely with our Product Owner and teams across the organisation, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day administration, configuration, data quality and continuous improvement of our core platforms, with an initial focus on our Nutickets system.

You will help us strengthen how our systems operate, resolve existing challenges and introduce improvements that make our processes simpler, more efficient and more reliable.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working with both systems and people, combining strong analytical skills with a practical, hands-on approach.

Key Responsibilities

System Administration and Configuration

· Support the administration, maintenance and ongoing improvement of CSSC’s core business systems, particularly Nutickets.

· Implement system configuration changes to meet operational requirements.

· Test, document and validate changes before they are introduced.

· Maintain accurate records of system configurations, procedures and changes.

· Identify opportunities to improve system functionality, efficiency and user experience.

Data Quality and Management

· Take an active role in improving and maintaining the accuracy, consistency and reliability of system data.

· Identify and resolve duplicate, incomplete or inaccurate records.

· Implement and maintain data validation rules, standards and quality controls.

· Undertake regular data quality checks and monitoring.

· Work with colleagues to establish good data management practices and prevent recurring issues.

Process Improvement and Documentation

· Work collaboratively with teams to understand how systems are used and identify opportunities for improvement.

· Review, map and document existing business processes.

· Help design and implement clear, consistent and efficient processes.

· Develop practical system guidance, procedures and user documentation.

· Support teams in adopting improved ways of working.

System Development and Continuous Improvement

· Identify and help implement existing system functionality that is not currently being fully utilised.

· Support the introduction of event attendance capture functionality as an initial priority.

· Work with colleagues to understand requirements, test solutions and support successful implementation.

· Contribute to the resolution of outstanding system issues and improvement activities.

· Make recommendations for future system enhancements based on business needs.

User Support and Issue Resolution

· Act as a first point of contact for day-to-day system queries, requests and issues.

· Investigate problems, provide practical solutions and escalate more complex matters where necessary.

· Manage and prioritise support requests, ensuring colleagues receive timely updates.

· Provide guidance and support to help users work confidently and effectively with the systems.

· Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements that address their underlying causes.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is analytical, organised and motivated by making systems and processes work better.

You don’t need to be a software developer, but you should be confident working with business systems, understanding how they are configured and identifying ways to improve their performance.

Essential Skills and Experience

· Experience working in a systems administration, systems analyst, application support or similar role.

· Experience configuring, maintaining or supporting business software platforms.

· A good understanding of data quality, data cleansing and data management principles.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.

· Ability to understand, document and improve business processes.

· Confidence in investigating system issues and identifying practical solutions.

· Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

· Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.

· A proactive, collaborative approach and a willingness to take ownership of problems through to resolution.

Desirable Skills and Experience

· Experience working with CRM, membership management, event management or ticketing platforms.

· Previous experience using Nutickets or a similar system.

· Experience implementing system improvements or introducing new functionality.

· Familiarity with data validation, deduplication and reporting tools.

· Experience preparing system documentation, process maps or user guides.

· Experience supporting users and delivering system training.

· Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.

What Success Looks Like

In this role, you will make a real difference to how CSSC operates. Your work will help us achieve:

· More accurate, consistent and reliable data across our systems.

· Well-documented system configurations and business processes.

· A reduction in outstanding system issues and data quality problems.

· Improved use of existing system functionality, including event attendance capture.

· Faster and more effective support for colleagues.

· More efficient ways of working and greater confidence in our systems.
