Job description

Part-time Monday to Friday 09:00 am- 1:00 pm

The opportunity

  • An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Customer Experience Team as a
  • Stock & Inventory Coordinator on a
  • Part Time Basis

The role will focus on the end-to-end management of CSSC's benefit stock, ensuring products, vouchers and promotional items are available when members need them.

The role will work closely with the Product & Partnerships team, Member Services and suppliers to maintain accurate stock levels, forecast demand, produce management reports and resolve stock-related issues, helping to deliver a seamless member experience.

You will be reporting to the Product and Partnerships Manager.

What you will do

Stock Management

  • Manage stock levels across all CSSC benefit products and merchandise.
  • Place stock orders with suppliers in line with agreed purchasing processes.
  • Ensure new stock is received, checked and accurately recorded.
  • Upload and maintain stock levels within relevant systems.
  • Monitor stock movements and investigate discrepancies.

Forecasting & Planning

  • Analyse historical sales trends and seasonal demand to forecast future stock requirements.
  • Monitor pricing, reviewing price competitiveness and reporting findings to the Product & Partnership Manager
  • Work closely with the Product & Partnerships team to understand upcoming campaigns, launches and promotions.
  • Recommend stock ordering levels to minimise shortages and excess stock.
  • Highlight risks to stock availability and propose mitigation plans.

Reconciliation & Controls

  • Complete regular stock reconciliations between digital stock, supplier records and internal systems.
  • Investigate and resolve stock variances.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure robust stock control processes are followed.
  • Support finance with stock-related reconciliations where required.

Reporting

  • Produce monthly stock and inventory reports.

  • Strong numerical accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships across teams.

Desirable

  • Experience working with an e Commerce or inventory management system.
  • Experience working with Excel and Sage.
  • Experience of purchase ordering and supplier management.
  • Experience within retail, membership or not-for-profit organisations.
