We are currently recruiting for a leading and prestigious Frozen Food Manufacturing company; due to their continued growth and development they are seeking to employ a Quality Assurance Technician (QA) for their site in Boston to start asap.
Ongoing contract. Salary is £14.16 per hour – overtime paid at time and a quarter. All breaks paid. Free parking on site. Canteen facilities. 20 minutes’ walk from Boston town centre. Shift pattern is 3-2-2 hours of work – 6am – 6pm and 6pm – 6am Day/Night rotation 12 hour shifts.
Role:
- Checking Fresh Peas / Broccoli / Cauliflower with Specification
- Recording information to SAP
- Communicating with drivers
- Cleaning QA Cabin / cleaning outside the cabin when not busy
- During an all-day hygiene – Cleaning and Wash down together with the Production team
- Checking frozen product with the specification
- Collecting samples
- Generate and apply pallet traceability labels in processing area onto pallets, prior to them being transferred to bulk storage areas
- Monitoring product on the line (quality)
- Work on the line as needed
Experience of working within the food industry would be desirable.
