We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading and prestigious manufacturing company based in Snetterton, Norfolk. Due to their continued growth and success, they are seeking to employ a Goods Out Operative. This is an ongoing contract potentially leading to permanent to the right candidate. Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 6am 2.30pm. Very competitive salary offered.
Reporting directly to Warehouse and Production Manager and Assistant Warehouse Manager. Responsibilities and duties include:
- Picking and labelling: all products/orders positioned and labelled in delivery bays ready for loading.
- Daily handovers: handover from morning shift to late shift. Pass on any relevant information.
- Continual Improvements: Improve efficiencies, packaging, presentation of products.
- Housekeeping: Ensure all aisles and areas are clean and tidy at the end of the shift.
- Quality Control: Ensure products picked are not damaged and packaging is suitable and intact.
- Inaccuracies: Ensure we dispatch with 100% accuracy, no picking errors.
- Health: Ensure equipment checks are maintained and carried out as required.
- Support: To help and support the Manager in all aspects of the warehouse. To maintain standards and take the lead during times of absence or annual leave.
