Overview
We are looking to speak with experienced marine personnel to support uncrewed surface vessel (USV) operations on a range of offshore survey and data acquisition projects. This is a hands-on, field-based role supporting the mobilisation, deployment and ongoing operations of USVs.
Key Responsibilities
- Mobilisation and preparation of USVs for offshore projects and sea trials
- Assisting with load-outs, transport and equipment setup
- Supporting launch and recovery operations
- Acting as on-site / nearshore representative during USV operations
- Liaising with vessel crews and local support teams
- Assisting survey and technical teams with equipment installation and maintenance
- Ensuring safe working practices and compliance with HSE procedures
- Providing real-time feedback on local conditions to support operational decision-making
Requirements
- Previous marine experience (small craft or commercial marine environment)
- Full driving licence (experience towing trailers highly beneficial)
- Strong practical and hands-on approach
- Good communication and ability to work as part of a small team
- Willingness to travel and work flexible / rotational shifts
Nice to Have
- Yachtmaster, Master 200 or equivalent marine certification
- Experience with marine maintenance or mechanical tasks
- Sea survival or offshore safety training
- HGV licence
