Overview
We are seeking an experienced Forklift Driver with a valid Counterbalance licence to join our client based in Danbury. This role is ideal for someone confident in handling wide loads rather than working at heights.
Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 7.30am β 4.00pm
- Friday: 7.30am β 1.00pm
Pay
- Β£13.88 per hour
Duties
- Operating a counterbalance forklift to safely move long lengths of material around the warehouse and yard
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Supplying materials to machinery and production areas
- General warehouse duties when required (manual handling, tidying work areas, stock movement)
- Ensuring health & safety procedures are always followed
Requirements
- Valid Counterbalance forklift licence
- Proven experience handling long loads (not high-reach)
- Good awareness of safety when manoeuvring awkward or heavy materials
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively within a team
