We are currently recruiting for a Glass Inspector to join our clients growing team based in Witham on a temp-to-perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic. Previous experience within the glass industry would be advantageous, although full training can be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect all glass arriving on site to ensure quality standards are met
  • Identify and report any flaws, defects, or damages promptly
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections and issues identified
  • Work closely with production and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Follow all health and safety procedures at all times

Working Hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 6:00am - 2:30pm (45 minutes total break time at 9:00am and 12:00pm)
  • Friday: 6:00am - 2:00pm (same break structure)

Pay

  • £12.71 per hour
  • Pay increases available upon permanent employment and dependent on experience
  • Holiday entitlement starting at 20 days per year, increasing annually up to a maximum of 25 days
  • Eligibility to join the Employee Owned Trust after one year of employment
  • Additional birthday day off after one year of employment
  • Temp-to-perm opportunity with long-term career prospects
