Location: Maldon Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday Hours: 8:00am – 4:15pm Pay: £14.50 per hour Contract: 6-month fixed-term contract Our client is a busy manufacturing and distribution business, and due to continued growth, are looking to recruit a Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join their team on an initial 6 month fixed term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced forklift driver to join a busy operation where you will play an important role in ensuring products are handled, stored and dispatched safely, accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities: * Regularly operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck. * Complete daily Forklift Truck safety checks and report any faults or issues. * Pick products accurately and efficiently to meet operational requirements. * Support the packing operation by ensuring packaging materials are readily available. * Complete stock rotation in line with site procedures and standards. * Report any stock damage to the relevant manager and move damaged goods to the appropriate quarantine area. * Carry out pre-loading and unloading vehicle inspections. * Ensure visiting drivers follow all site rules and procedures. * Load vehicles safely and ensure products are not damaged during loading. * Transfer products between pallets as required. * Load and unload vehicles and containers. * Maintain effective communication with drivers, hauliers, colleagues and management. * Ensure products are dispatched with the correct documentation. * Complete weekly cleaning schedules and maintain accurate records. * Maintain high standards of Health
