CSS Recruitment is looking for an Environmental Officer for Parks & Open Spaces to cover the Castle Point Borough. Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will be required to work on-site only.
Responsibilities:
- Required for two days per week, the Environmental Officer will need to be able to undertake routine inspections such as Safety Culture inspections.
- Ensure the provision of high-quality Council-owned land and facilities which are safe to use.
Qualifications:
- Able to work on own.
- Pro-active mindset.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Experience in operating and maintaining open spaces and associated facilities, including programmed inspections and equipment audits.
- Experience of working with community groups.
- Knowledge of and experience in horticultural activities.
- Knowledge of and experience in enforcing relevant legislation.
