CSS are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Coordinator for one of our clients based in Colchester, Essex for a temporary to permanent basis. Hours of the role will be 7AM till 4:30PM, 4 days on 4 days off which will include weekends. We are looking for candidates with previous experience in a fast-paced and smooth execution of outbound supply chain activities. These activities will include coordinating deliveries, liaising with transport and haulage, and other roles to comply with.

Duties include:

  • Coordinating outbound deliveries daily to customers
  • Manage and hire/dehire supply chain equipment
  • Working with suppliers to minimise losses and control costs
  • Acting as key interface between logistical teams
  • Liaising with other teams to ensure when improvements can be made
  • Following all H&S procedures

Starting date - Immediate. Temp to Perm after 12 weeks.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in supply chain, logistics or customer service roles
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple duties
  • Own transport preferred due to location and shift times. Public transport not available
  • Experience in FMCG, fresh produce and food manufacturing desirable
  • Familiar experience with outbound logistics and transport coordination
