CSS Recruitment are currently hiring for a Senior Remanufacture Technician in Colchester.

Our client is looking for someone who has a strong knowledge in electronics and preferably experience within the automotive industry.

This is a hands-on technical role within a high-quality engineering environment.

The Role

  • You will advise, supervise and instruct colleagues in technical remanufacturing processes and ensure documentation is updated.
  • Contribute to a safe, tidy and organised work space.
  • Test and diagnose customer-returned automotive electronic components using in-house developed test software.
  • Accurately identify faults at unit and PCB level.
  • Use specialist equipment and machinery to dismantle electronic assemblies.
  • Remanufacture and restore electronic components to full functional and quality standards on PCB level.
  • Perform end of line testing to ensure all units meet the companies quality and performance requirements.
  • Work closely with other engineers and further improve team knowledge.

Further in-house training is provided alongside personal and professional development.
