CSS Recruitment are hiring on behalf of our client for a motivated Junior Automotive Electronics Technician to join their remanufacturing team.
The role involves restoring faulty automotive electronic components to an as-new standard.
It is ideal for someone with a solid electronics background, preferably with some automotive experience, who enjoys hands-on technical work and is keen to develop their skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Test and diagnose automotive electronic components using in-house software.
- Identify electronic faults at unit and PCB level.
- Dismantle electronic assemblies using specialist equipment.
- Repair and remanufacture PCB-level electronic components to quality standards.
- Perform final testing to ensure products meet performance and quality requirements.
- Work closely with technicians and engineers to develop technical knowledge.
Skills & Experience
- Good practical knowledge of electronics.
- Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Experience with PCB soldering and electronic component handling.
- Knowledge of automotive electronics, EV systems, or electronic control units (ECUs) is desirable.
- Confident using electronic test equipment and diagnostic tools.
- Strong attention to detail with good communication and teamwork skills.
